Quick Facts about Me

and My Work

Jacquelin Liggins

Jacquelin Liggins

I collaborated with Orange County Commissioner, Renee Price, on the “Free Spirit Freedom” documentary collection. This project consisted of African American Schools in the Orange County area from the early 1900’s, black owned businesses, and churches.

I love music. I dance in my kitchen and can have a whole dance party all by myself! Music gives me a fresh perspective and is a fantastic motivator.

My work is on display in my studio every weekend from 12-5pm. Also, you will find my art in group exhibits at various venues across the Triangle area.

I enjoy it so much when people look at my work and try to see an image or some type of hidden form in the abstract design and array of colors, textures, and details in my paintings. It still seems foreign when I hear someone rave over my artwork. It’s so unexpected and gratifying!
